Wanted: 27mhz FM Receiver and small brushed ESC - 12.10.2007, 07:37 PM

I hope I'm allowed to do this here. Sorry if i'm not.

I have a Mini-T that doesn't get used a lot due to it having a really bad radio. It has the stock esc and receiver in one job and it's range is pathetic. I can't get full range on the steering either.

I now have a JR3 27mhz FM radio that is much better that I bought with the kids stampede. I would like to change the mini-t over to that radio as it's not a bad radio and has great range (also only have to maintain batteries in 2 radios). I was wondering if anyone has an old 27mhz FM receiver sitting on their shelf that they are never going to use and would be willing to part with (sell)? Also does anyone know where to buy a cheap new one just incase? I don't want to spend too much money as the car only gets brought out when I have friends around and I'd rather spend money on my savages and other mini-t.

I'll also have to get a 1/18th scale brushed esc. If someone has one they have pulled from a 1/18th rtr and would like to sell feel free to PM me.

Thanks guys.
