The only way to do this is to lock your tranny in second gear.
But why do you want to remove the mechanical brake????
I run mine with the 2 speed and mechanical brake and i love it.
Less current draw from batterie.

I connect the brake servo to chanel 3, and i use the "MIX" function on my radio (Futaba FASST 2.4) to "mix" the chanel 2 and 3. I set the EPA on chanel 2 to have full trottle and no brake and set EPA on chanel 3 to full brake but no trottle.
Also, i dissable the brake ( or set it to minimum) in your ESC.

Et voila

so the revo's transmission is not like other cars... where you could just split channel 2 with another "Y" harness and hook it up to the brake servo?..

If you did it , you must be certain that you can disable the brake fonction on your ESC, because when you'll brake, you ESC should not brake.
I've an MGM 16018 and i can't disable the brake fonction completly on it, i can only put it to a very low setting. SO i don't have the choice to MIX the chanel 2 and 3.

Brakes? Who needs brakes? Brakes are for stopping, and shouldn't you be "going"?

Seriously, it's important to note that if you retain the two speed/mech brakes in the stock Revo tranny, you will NOT have reverse. I'm sure you knew this, but just a FYI...

Quite true Brian! i have a tekno converted revo and think that it is great, but I do miss reverse. There is just something about being able to do a reverse wheely that just does it for me! Mech brakes are great, my aveox/quark combo stays cool, even though it is a bit undersized for the application. I just put a small clip-on heatsink on the motor and mounted the quark directly to the al esc mount, that seems to keep the temps in check!
