I just bought this truck on EBAY(sorry, I just pasted the ad) and need to know which BL ESC/Motor combo to choose. Not so concerned about $ just dont want a Novak. I currently have 2 maxamps 11.1v 5000mah lipos that I would like to utilize.

Yeah, from the list of parts it sounds like an e-maxx.
If you want to use the lipos you have I'd recommend a 6s setup. Maybe an MGM or Quark 125 (some people's quarks haven't worked properly on 6s, but mine works normally), and a neu 1515 1.5y (1500kv). Gear that for ~40mph for normal driving, and temps and runtime should be pretty good.
I wouldn't use any of the lightened traxxas shafts with brushless, they're not as strong as standard. Diffs will also need upgrading with that setup.
Yes it is an E-maxx. Sorry I left that out. I would like to wire the lipos in parrallel if possible. Are the RRP maximizer diffs not up to the strain of the brushless?
3s setups aren't that common so I don't really know what to recommend. How fast do you want to go?
I must have forgotten about the diff cups when I posted. The diffs should last ok depending on how powerful your setup is, but they will still wear out after a while.
Then you want series wiring. Series adds voltage, parallel adds capacity.
In that case, if money is not an issue, I'd recommend an MGM16024 and a Neu 1515 motor of proper kv (the 1700kv one would be fine). Should provide speeds over 45mph quite easily (probably more like 50+) and should be reliable and cool-running.
The MGM 24160 is definately a nice ESC, why not just run 8S, and a 12XL or higher quality motor(LMT 1960/9 orNeu 1527/1Y?... that would be a very very nice setup...

If you don't want to spend an extra $100, and don't want to use more than 6s the MGM 16018 should be enough.
