By the way, mine was installed on an E-Savage, the shaft stick out about 3cm, which is about 1 inch.

wondering if this one works, anyone tried?

i had that motor mount on my SuperMaxx and ran it quite a while with no issues at all. i too was concerned about running it without a cover - and i was assured by others that it's no big deal. it wasn't, other than there being a bit more noise. my only advice is just make sure all wires/cables are tight enough to not come in contact with the spur while it's running.

Hm.....I still think it is better off with a cover, i just found out the diameter of a soda can is the same as the bottom part of the motor plate........If nothing work out, i will try to make my own one....LoL...lets hope i there is some thing that fit.

Slightly different issue is that I wanted mine to mount on the left side of the truck but they arn't reversible...

No idea why no one else has built a emaxx single motor mount...

Probably didnt see the need or market for it. I was happy modifying my motor mount so that the spare mount was completely removed, and followed the outline of the tranny.
