Have a look at this:
I run the 3s2p version in my ext crt.5 and it fits great. Still allows room for the mm behind the battery too. I get great runtimes, at least 30mins, mixed bashing!

Well, I would like to stick with flightpower/trackpower because I can get them at my lhs; since I work there, I can get a discount.

I really don't like maxamps at all. I'm running a maxamps 2s 4Ah lipo now and it can barely handle 60amps.(voltage drops to 3.1v/cell)
I think I'm gonna drill some holes in the chassis to make room for some of the longer flightpowers.
Bye

I know what you mean about the 4ah packs, they only work well in a 2p configuration, or 4s and higher setup. I have had alot of success with my 2100 cells, I ran 2 2100 3s packs in parallel in my emaxx with a 380c 7l motor. It was geared for 45 and they could delive under that load. The motor and esc got hot, but the lipos stayed just warm. I am sure the flightpower are better packs though.

Hey Mike, I use the stock strap and put some small al spacers under the posts. They look to be about 10mm tall, I also have a piece of velcro under the batt to keep it in place. With the spavers the top hole in the post is in jst the right place to keep it all tied down tight. The battery does get close to the spur, so I just taped a think piece of sheet steel to the pack in case it gets moved towards the spur. Very happy with these cells, I think that they are maxamp's best.

I would get the trackpower pack. They aren't 20C anymore, the newer ones are the 25C cells like in the flightpower pack.
They are the same price as the flightpower pack even though you get the hard case.
You need to get the right balance harness for the trackpower though (if you already have the regular flightpower balancer). Or get the gold V-Balance.

flightpower = enerland = Polyquest = PolyRC Extreme Series = Thunderpower Extreme Series. Only difference is they're assembled by different folks. I think some other brands are also the same enerland cells but not sure. The giveaway is in the size of the cells.
It's possible some of em get the cream of the crop and others get the remainders, but fret not and choose any of the above with confidence. If you go the Maxamps route, or any other "light" pack, best of luck to you.

out of those two I would pick the car pack, because of the hard case.
Kyosho SC, tekin rs, D3 17.5
Hyper 9e, mmp,tekin 1900kv
Associated sc10 4x4, novak 4.5
