Revo Anti Squat (lift?) mods? - 01.25.2008, 11:19 PM

Howdy. is there any way to reduce the squat on a revo? by which I mean the tail end squats down a lot under power (not sure if they call it squat or lift? maybe both) Even when running hard springs with P3 rockers, on my revo 3.3 (not BL yet, still trx3.3) squats so much under power - are there any bits around that give you some suspension adjustment in this area?

Cheers

S

When I had my 3.3 conversion, the best combination for me was to use P2 rockers and use the stiffest springs possible in the rear with thicker oil (can't remember the weight), and use springs that are 1 or 2 steps down from the stiffest for the front along with thicker oil (just not quite as thick as the rear). Still had squat/dive, but was better.

You're always going to get some squat though.

Me too. Something like 70wt oil in the rear and ~5.9nm springs

my fav combo (both nitro and electric revo) was 80wt oil all round, black springs rear and green front. that gave me the best combo IMO

E-revo 3.3 conversion, 249kv outrunner, 6s, MMM

P2 rockers / pink springs front, purple rear / 50wt shock oil.

This setup works great for my driving style (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SG0q_i_VCR4).
