Spy Photos of Tekin's RX8!!! - 09.10.2007, 01:41 PM

Ok, just kidding. I did see it this weekend here in Boise, but Ty and Jim both asked that I not take any pics of the ESC so I didn't. I did get some shots of their Losi 8ight-T in action though and I've posted some of those below. Didn't get to hang around to see how it ended up, but maybe Jim or Ty can chime in and give us the low down. Hope you guys like some of the photos - the 8ight-T looked great from what I saw.

Great pictures. Looked like quite a muddy track. Were they even able to say the specs of the RX8? I am very curious what it will be like...

Thanks guys. I didn't get to talk with Jim much because I only had a few minutes, but I just got a PM from him. He said that both the truggy and buggy ran perfectly other than a couple mechanical failures. I think a shock blew on them, and something else. They were running 15 minute qualifiers and 30 minute mains. Apparently they held out through the 30 minute mains just fine. Maybe Jim or Ty will stop in this thread and give more info.

We Ran the 8 and 8t this weekend at the local trophy race. I led the buggy 30min main for about 7 min and then broke a shock. Ran all 23 min draggin one arm just to prove it could do it...stupid in retropspec, we should have just fixed it. Running 2nd in truggy at about 13min and stripped the servo arm. Like an idiot I had forgot to put on the metal ones to replace the plastic ones they gave. We put one on and I think I got back to 5th. We have some decent vid and pics we will sneak out.

4s 4800 w/12.5 voltage cutoff, Truggy made 15 being gentle, buggy was 15 solid. I still drive 2wd 1/10 style more than 1/8. Need more steering in the Truggy to bring it around and just time with the buggy. We still think we have to dump it in 10min for max load test and big tracks. Have to cover Monster Mike..

Cool... love to see some video. I tried to get some video last week at our trophy race but I was an idiot and didn't have the camcorder charged.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
