Smile Another Jammin X1CR Conversion - 11.11.2007, 06:07 PM

Hi all,

Managed to pick up a roller for $125 shipped (minus wing) - Mike bits shipped on Friday and arrived Sat!

I completed the build pretty quickly using Mike's new servo/RX mount and a left over bit of CF for the ESC mount over the central diff.

The battery box is homemade from Kydex (thank you RCHippie) - I can't believe how great it came out - Put the one I bought to shame (note not from Mike)...

It is running 9XL / 4S MM with 16/46 gearing... Didn't check temps but think it can go up a bit more for more top end...

From my first run I seemed to be getting ballooning in the front - I think that means I need to run thicker oil in the centre diff - No idea what is in there at the moment - Any suggestions? I have 30k for my revo at hand...

Here are the photos:

Comments welcome....

Big thanks to Mike and RCHippie!
