Electric 1/8th scale Exhibition Race at CRCRC - 12.03.2007, 10:17 AM

We have got approval from the President of CRCRC Midwest Championship in Columbus to run an Exhibition race for the Elelctric 1/8th scale conversions on the Electric race weekend January 12th and 13th.

We needed at least 10 entries. The minumum number has been met, so it is going to occur. Other may still participate just follow the instructions:

Have them send an e-mail to president@crcrc.com and in the subject line say "1/8 scale electric entry" with class, freq 1 and freq 2, shirt size, and transponder #, then send a payment through PayPal using the same e-mail address as the account name( president@crcrc.com ). Or fill out an entry form and mark it as 1/8 scale electric then send it to the P.O. Box on the form.

Please be advised that they are requiring the use of a LiPo sack for safety reasons for the electric week. They picked up a sponsorship from http://www.liposack.com/ for this event and they are offering a great discount on the LiPo sacks. The info on getting the discount has been posted on the rctech.net forum and I’m sure there are a few links on the CRCRC website and the Starting Grid conference.

Come and get in on the fun as we showcase one of the newest and most exciting classes in RC!!!

I think the voltage allowed should be changed. Some of us like to use 6S, 8S, 10S and even 12S. This could open doors to a lot of things.

in a race anything above 5S is useless. (unless you are running 1/4th mile straight, but these tracks are rare in offroading..,if they exist at all)

4S should be more than plenty.
