Keeping the 2 speed on a GT - 03.21.2008, 11:08 AM

What have you guys done to keep the 2 speed while using mikes mount? I bought the RCM mount since what i had was hideous looking and wasn't connected to the center diff. Single speed is easy, but using the stock clutch bell isn't going to work. My only other thought so far is using the RCM mount on the front side and having the motor sit on the left front of the car then swapping the pinion gears around on the bell. This would work perfect except the motor hits the front bell cranks! Does anyone make a simple 2 speed mod1 pinion?

This is exactly what you need. I use them in my 2 speed DM1 conversion and they are great.

Mikes got it all..... You just need to know where to look.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
