Anyone who is expecting the chinese factory built monster max motor to be equal to a NEU is dreaming, and will be dissapointed at it's release. Please do not expect that much from a motor that will be around half the price. Castle makes good products and stands by them. I'm sure this will be no different, just don't go expecting the quality of a $300 hand wound motor from it.

I’ve officially given up on my 7XL, I just can’t keep it cool enough in my heavy truck. I’ve dropped all the way down to a 13t pinion (from 20 initially) and still roast the motor with heavy bashing. (200F is where I shut it down) I’m ditching the motor and pulling the electronics for a buggy project I’m building. My truck will remain down until Mamba Monster and new motor come in.

Damn Fieago motors. What goods all that crazy power if you can’t run it for more then a few minutes at a time.
