cc bec....WTH! - 11.29.2008, 06:47 PM

so irun the cc bec to power my reciver, whlie running it i bring it in to check the temps. and i notice the negative wire from the bec became un soiderd, BUT it still works.green light is on and still powering my reciver...WHAT!!!! i imagine this cant be good and i hope i didn't mess any thing up

The BEC, rx, ESC, and batts share a common ground, so if the BEC ground lifted, the system was most likely getting it through the throttle and ESC ground.

I had the same problem, but it was with my POSITIVE wire. WTF? It worked too...

I had the same problem, but it was BOTH wires! It still worked! Kidding.....

Huh? I don't have an explanation for that unless your ESC BEC was still hooked up...
