battery charger?? - 02.04.2006, 09:51 PM

I just purchased some GP race packs and was wondering if I just have a normal type charger with the peak detection and stuff. Its not a fancy charger at all.... real basic. Will a junk charger damage the battery in the long run. Does it matter what kind of charger I have. I guess Im just concerned becuase this is my first decent pack of batteries and wanted to know if the charger makes a big difference.... charging, battery life in the long run,... things like that. Thanks Grant

It would be better to use a higher quality charger, but they can be charged on a cheaper one. I've used Super Brain 959's for years, but recently got a Multiplex LN-5014, and it seems to be even better. Only possible drawback is that it's DC only, but I'll make it work anyway.
