Not really an apples to apples comparison. The VXL3M is a 25A maximum controller, with a maximum voltage of 3S.

The Mamba Pro is an 80A controller, with a maximum voltage of 6S.

I understand it's a nudge too big... I'll ask Jonathan about whether the Mamba Micro X can be used with 6S -- but I think the answer is "no"

Thanks!

Would be hard to get a body to fit, but I'm sure that could be done too.

You would have an easier time fitting a MMpro.

Anyway lets hear about this release!!

It looks like yes -- I know it's been released to production, but I don't know the status of things like labels (I know we are still waiting on those...)

Thanks!

Patrick

Haha, that MERV is badass. Mamba Max Pro with fan chopped-off has been working very well in my mini 8ight; one of the few (only?) that has high enough commutation speed to drive a 6-pole outrunner (lightweight! makes up a bit for heavier ESC) to >50k RPM on 4S :).

I didn't know a MM pro could be run without the fan, without voiding the warranty. That is my main concern, if doing it. Knocking the fan off would help weight though

That is my plan though, either outrunners or fairly low KV motors (1000-1200kv)

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

In a mini it will hardly warm up; not sure if it voids warranty, if you're concerned with that, there's the Once Cell edition: http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...o-onecell.html, doesn't have a BEC though either.

The warranty would be void with anything over 1 cell to i bet

I am wanting to get some more going on this thread soo.

Does this mean that there is a new unreleased Traxxas vehicle(s) that this corresponds to?

I think we missed the release of early last week, any new info on when they may be available?

We delayed release to production due to a firmware issue.

Release to production (and official announcements!) will be this week.

Thanks!
