I'd like to get a touring car, but am afraid the low clearance will prevent running on normal pavement (like parking lots and such) due to the normal pebbles and small rocks. I would need about 10-15mm clearance to be safe. There aren't any sold locally that I've seen, so I can't really study any setups. Are there any that meet my needs? If so, that will be my next project.

What is the general opinion on the TC4 with a brushless setup? Or maybe even a nitro TC3 conversion to brushless?

I'm crazy and I'm not afraid to talk about it.

Go to " Project Brushless Bazooka" thread using the search engine to get an idea of what a crazy brushless setup is like. The Project is cancelled, BTW.

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!

Have you ever driven either?
I own a TC3, and my friend owns a xxx s. I have never had any "torque steer" from my TC3, and after seeing what a 9 turn brushed motor on cheap cells did to a xxx s driveline, I would never put any kind of serious brushless setup in it. The belt lasted about 2-3 minutes of semi hard driving. I have no doubt it could be a very capable racer, but I wouldnt use anything more powerful than a novak 5800 in it.
