Question About weight. -
12.11.2006, 10:01 AM
How much does a a 9xl, the rcmonster heat sink/clamp and a quark monster pro weigh?
Also if you were shipping the above items would you ship them in a box or in an envelope?

You wouldn't want them shipped in an envelope! Trust me!

A box.
Quark weights around 120 gramms, motor about 400 and the heatsink around 70.

IF you have the time, I would like that. I'm building a weight database for RC parts, particularly T-Maxx/E-Maxx/Revo oriented but will start including many other models as well. Since my Super-Emaxx is apart I'll be weighing all my supermaxx parts individually. Whatever info you care to send my way I'll include in my list and perhaps we can post it in a "reference section" here on RCM.

It wasn't from Mike, and not insured, which was stupid of me. To me it seems to save on shipping cost the shipper shoved it all in a flat rate envelope and sent it. And the envelope gave out in transit, That why i wanted to know the weight To me these things should never been shipped that way, and I am trying to get all the facts I can.
I did not sign for it, the post office contacted me and told me they had the package and the contents were lost. So I filed a lost Items claim and the post office is looking for the Items.. But I doubt they will find them.

Its a real lesson learned, I guess I just take for granted, after working for company that packages things for shipping, that people would know when to use boxes and when not to. i can tell you From now on I going to request everything be shiped in boxes, and taped up. Time to start saving for another power plant for my E-revo.
