problem with my quark 80b - 04.21.2007, 05:50 PM

Ive had it now for over a year and just the last 2 runs it has started acting up. it starts out fine for like the first 100ft then it slows down, and sometimes stops even with the throttle held down. then once i let off and get back on it it does it again, i cant figure it out:030: . its never thermaled or been hot enough to touch (not even close) there was nothing wrong then this happed, any body have this happen or know the cause?

When something starts acting up with no apparent cause (like heat, smoke, etc), I like to check connectors and wiring. Over time, connectors can get dirty which won't work as well. Also, wires may have broken strands from the constant motion or unplugging/replugging. But first, you might want to try another battery - the one you are using may be getting tired.

do you think its a loose connection? cause it slows down before it stops:002: could it be the motor maybe? I hope not cause it has less that 2hours on it and it was in a pretty light rustler when it started doing this. (oh the motor is a lehner xl3600)

Couldn't tell you. You should phone S&T and tell them what you are running and maybe they can tell you what's wrong?

What do you mean not from them? They made the thing. They will service the thing. :032:
