What charger to use for 8000mah packs? - 04.25.2007, 03:05 AM

My brother just purchased a MaxAmp 3s 8000mah pack and was wondering what charger is recomended for the high mah packs. He saw MaxAmps Thunder Power 1010C Charger for $199 but was wondering what else was out there. What are some of you using to charge your big packs?
Thanks.

Assuming that he got the standard balancing taps, he could go for an LBA10 balancer and anyone of the chargers that will do 3S at an 8A rate. The 1010C will do it, the duratrax ice, the super brain 989, the hyperion 1210, etc.

I vote the 989 too. I have this charger and really like it.
