Once you start talking about doing a truggy, there are a few that you should consider. The CRT is nice, the 8ight seems to be the rage and the MBX5 would be a "can't go wrong" choice.

The 8ight buggy that I did came out alright, but I wasn't crazy about it. I'll be doing an 8ight T for the owner of my LHS pretty soon. Maybe I'll like that better. I'll like it a whole lot more if Mike comes out with a mount for it and I won't have to mill a mount on my drill press again.

How much are you willing to spend. The hellfire is on sale at Tower Hobbbies... but there are just so many to choose from. But out of those 3, I would choose the Hellfire because of the sale and the motor mount can be done by Mike.

I was in this same situation. I went with the Jammin CR buggy on sale at tower for 450-30. What a deal! Plus, I like buggies anyways. Just don't get the Hellfire.

if you did the revo you could also use stock chassis, even stock trans.
if you want pics of losi 8ight-t go to glassdoctors tread: new toy, good and bad.
its :020: nitro:020: tough.

The CRT conversion is a snap, rollers around 200$, and mike sells a mount. Lots of threads on how 2. Plus, the truggy is bullet proof practically. An e-revo would cost more in the long run once you get all the diffs upgraded to 1/8 scale. My 2 cents.
