jolly, if you wind up doing the Muggy, I might have a mount for you. I have a 3/16" thick mount that I did for mine, but decided to go 1/4". Mostly because I had the stock and was bored. It isn't pretty, but very functional. No flexing problems either.

I say "might," because someone pm'd me about it and I responded, but he hasn't gotten back to me since Monday. If I don't hear from him soon, it'll be up for grabs. I'm all for promoting this brushless thing.

The mount attaches to the center diff at five points, and is very rigid.

***Geez, don't know what I was thinking. Sorry for the off topic/hijack.

The only catch is this. If/when you get a better mount, you pass this one on to someone else that could use it at no charge and under the same conditions.

Sure! We can all collect $1 from all members to help Glassdoctor cover the "Medical Expenses" for the brushless conversion.

Then it's my turn!

I asked him too, he said about 2 weeks and he will put them in the store. he is also working on a battery mount so I will probably end up picking that up aswell.

now I will just have to figure out what kind of gearing for the truggy. GD what gearing do you run in the crt when you run the 1515 motor? that is most likely the motor I will be picking up. thanks

I just had the opportunity to see a 8T in action, at a track in north Ga and to say i'm impressed is an understatement. it was so hooked up it looked like a slotcar and was handling the bumps and jumps like nothing. It was easily the class of the field, I'm not sure where he finished (i believe a podium) but he put on a whale of a show. On one particular jump, he was getting about 7 ft up and about 20 ft out, and this was racing.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
