I have a friend on another forum that is considering a new brushless system for a 1/10th scale TC3 touring car. This would be specifically for carpet racing.
Here is the track.
I recommended the Mamba but he has had good experience with Novak products and is favoring the
Novak XBR Sport.
I don't have any experience with that Novak system so I really couldn't give an good argument to convince him to get the Mamba. The Novak will probably suit his requirements just fine. What puzzles me is that he says he has heard too many people having problems with the Max to give it a try. I replied that it was likely that those who had troubles had either insufficient batteries or gearing issues. I'm not sure of any other reason why people would have issues with the Mamba Max systems in their 1/10 scale touring cars. Just wondering if anyone here has experience with both systems and if which you would favor. Again - please consider the application. This is specifically for carpet racing. So consider the functionality, performance, reliability issues as they apply to carpet racing only. Thanks guys.
