fasst spektrum w/ ruslter vxl

Hi there!

i have the FASST spektrum system on my 3pk and have the ability to run HRS mode but it requires you to run digital servos only.

now, the rustler vxl traxxas say it has a digital servo in it and it says digital on it, however all the digitals ive owned make squeaky noises like a little computer as if there working....

This one doesnt, would I be able to run HRS mode on this servo?

I thought FASST was only for Futaba and Nomadio radio's. Spektrum still uses DSS

I can't understand what difference it would make between dig/analog servos. Both dig and analog servos use the same type/amplitude/frequency to operate them. The only thing different is that dig servos have a MPU instead of timing circuits and so dig servos update faster and can require more current (and provide more torque as well).

That said, I think the proper statement should be "Digital servos must be used to take full advantage of the high speed radio system". Kinda makes no sense to have a super fast radio but use slow servos.

ok i tried hrs system, seems to work fine and the digital servo is making digital sounds now! lol
