Yes, my MM is working fine with the Aveox motor. I also tried my other 2600rpm/v motor and it was working fine. The motor that went bad had no strength from the magnet and this motors seems to have the most powerful magnets in the market. They are a smaller version of the big motor in the following link: http://www.rcpics.net/view_single.php?medid=85843

I'm glad to hear that you think the problem was with the motor not the controller.

Talking about a high end lehner i've just got one. A 1940/8 hi amp with one test run off ebay.

I haven't seen any problems like that with my Lehners and I have a few of them. I put my Aveoxs away for a bit, but it is time to get them out for some good times. From my experiences I think motors from: Aveox, Lehner, NeuMotors, Plettenbergs and a few others from Europe are the way to go. The Asian motors are cheaper, but the old saying you get what you pay for will come into play. I'm not saying the Asian made motors are all bad and I own a few of them as well, but the failure rate on them is well above from the other brands mentioned.

I'm thinking about getting a neu for my savage.

I agree with you there; the more you pay at the start the better off you are at the end (less to pay).

But worse off financially.... :P

Edit: where is a good place to find Aveox motors besides ebay? I do look around various places but they seem hard to find...

Other forums are a good place to check.
