MGM Cooling Fans

Understandable considering the price. IIRC, Zeropointbug modded his and was able to obtain warranty work when it blew (unrelated to the mod). It sure runs much cooler with the mod and an added heatsink.

Do you have a pic of the cooling setup you have?

MGM is putting the fans on with their controller. One 25 mm fan on my MM cools better than no fan on the MGM with the same setup. The MM has 36 fets on their board while the MGM has 2 x 36 fet boards if people didn't know. The cooling fins are poor on the MGM and a larger more eff. one would go a long way. MGM must have noticed later that their controller in some conditions(my racing) would require better heat rejection.

The idea of the MGM was to not have to use fans for me. I know others feel the same way.

My MGM's are the coolest running ESC's I have used. I have tried them all, MM, BK,Quark, Tekin, and the MGM was still the coolest running.
