Sounds like a glitch or interference.... I wouldnt hold the throttle at 50% for long periods though, that will heat up the esc rather quickly (or is that just brushed escs, I forget).

Sounds like interference to me as well. 50% throttle should be fine... and no, that problem is not apparent with BL esc's.

but interference for just a quick second? i fabed up a plastic box for my reciver to make it water proof. and bunched my excess wires in their.(not the battery wires) could this be it? it seems like it does it more when my temps start to get high.

Hmm, could be a thermal issue with the esc, or some kind of lvc issue in that case. Hard to say, but if there was a specific reason it would become apparent (such as thermalling). Given the motor & esc temps it sounds like you are a fraction undergeared- maybe go up a tooth on the pinion (or down on the spur) and see if the temp difference makes any difference. Does this happen often, or just once in a while with other vehicles present?...

EDIT: What are your brake settings- could be that drag brake is kicking in if you ease up on the throttle just a tiny amount without realising it....

Poor motor connections with the mamba can sometimes cause that as well. Check the plugs and replace them or hard wire.
