It would have more power, but not spin as fast overall, so you'd have to gear up a bit to get the same speed. The HV systems tend to spin really fast to get power from high rpms.

However, two points to consider:

1) You'd probably be better off in the long run getting a regular smooth can Feigao and then get the RCMonster heat sink. The Feigao end bells tend to pop off even on the finned version and the heatsink keeps it together.

2) The 9920 is a good ESC, but support for it should it break may take a while.

Are you running lipo or NiMH? And how many cells? If running 12 cells or 4s lipo, you might consider the Mamba Max controller as it is quite inexpensive and offers many nice features: 100A, 4s/12 cell capable, PC programmable, built-in LVC for lipos, small size, etc.

If you are running over 4s or 12 cells, I would use the 9XL motor.

Well, the Mamba Max might be a good choice for now. Once the Mamba Monster Max comes out, you could upgrade to that and then sell the MM as there always seems to be a demand for that ESC.

As for the motor, the 9XL would be a good choice for 12-14 cells or 4s-5s lipo.

are there problems with the warrior esc? i really dont like the idea of only being able to run on 12 cells and i would have to worry about selling the mamba when the new one comes out and worse yet what if the new one doesnt turn out to be any good or it could turn out to be over-priced

I just purchased a BK Warrior 9920 in September and it let the smoke out on it's first use after 10 minutes.

I was running it in an e-Revo on 4s geared very conservatively. I was even driving very conservatively. I had the black jumper removed and was using a UBEC. Batts, Motors, and controller were barely warm at all.

In other words, they're a great deal at only $125, but not if they only last 10 minutes. Now I get to enjoy the famous BK service experience.

On the other hand, years ago I had a 9918 that ran like a champ. So YMMV. I'll probably just keep the MM for my e-Revo and buy the new Sidewinder for my Rustler. The MM/9XL combo works perfectly on my e-Revo on 4s lipo.

(For the record, this fiasco is in no way RCM's problem. It clearly states in the product description that the controller is being sold so cheap because it doesn't come with any service warranty through RCM. I just want it to be clear that none of this affects my relationship or love for RCM.)
