gearing question for an e-revo - 11.09.2007, 11:00 PM

okay i am going to be using the tekno conversion kit with a neu 1515 1y/f motor and an mgm 16018 esc. how should i gear the truck to keep temps low and stil lhave power to wheelie and stuff on 4s lipos?

I am running 18/38, and it is working out great. The temps are low as well. And especially with your nice set up... Neu, MGM... you will have a large variety of gearing. I will estimate that the speeds are mid to high 30's... probably about 37 - 38mph. And when there is traction, it will wheely no problem.

If you are running a Neu/MGM combo, I wouldn't worry too much about temps as those components are known for cool running as long as you don't shoot for something silly like 80mph.
