Look what I'm racing tomorrow - 11.11.2007, 01:44 AM

I just finished my 2 Rustlers for tomorrow's dragrace. Both are brushless and run A123 cells. The FrankenRusto is fast as heck...in a straight line Punch controll is set on 100% for both cars, 20% brakes, 20% dragbrake, timing is set on highest. I'll see how well they do tomorrow.

Thanks!
That FrankenRusto was a challenge to get it running right. I ended up using 4tec shocks in the rear.

The green one is using 4s1p with the 5700kv mamba motor. The FJ is using 3s2p with a 8s Feigao.

Good eye Serum. I actually bought some 4Tec driveshafts yesterday as a replacement. Those currently on, are cut from the original driveshafts.

So the green one did not so good today. It wouldn't hook up for nothing. The Red one was popping wheelies like nobody's business. I made those nitro 4-tecs nervous. They had a hard time keeping up in the 132 feet distance. They would of done well on a longer track though. There was this one guy that lost his signal and drove full speed against a curve. Needless to say his car was in pieces.

Shame, the green monster definately looks the part of a dragster, even if the wheels spin like... spinning... things. I like the red one more though, definately has a certain look to it with the 4 'big' wheels.

The Green one does great on Concrete though. Too bad. I'll lock the diff soon and see how it does.

There was a new dragster out today. Transformer "BumbleBee" style. All custom made, down to the milled wheels.
