WRC Fans, New Project: My Quest for the Perfect Rally Car - 11.24.2007, 12:31 AM

Using my Jammin' X1 as the base, I'm looking to make the perfect rally car. Offroad, onroad, and everything in between.

I'm a huge WRC fan, and I'd I'd love it if someone knew where I could get a 1/8 Subaru WRC body. Will the Kyosho Gt fit?

Any advise and input is appreciated.

I would LOVE your discarded, broken POS 1/8th or 1/7th scale onroad bodies that would just be thrown away so I can test fit. I'm already thinking custom shock towers.

Thanks.

Looking at the stats, I think this is the closest fit. The wheel base is only 7mm off, and while the width is 100mm to wide, that should be good as it will cover the tires. The length is 80mm larger but that is in the bumpers and the wheelbase is what matters.

What do ya'll think?

I've always loved the Kyosho Inferno GT's, just never had the money or reason to dump $350 or whatever it is into one. Still though, they look amazing, go for it!

Are you looking for an 1/8th scale wrx body? The Jammin X1 is an upped version of the hyper8 right? I'm a little behind as I havn't bought an 1/8th scale since my hyper7. Just got back into 1/10th scale brushless and I'm going to be here for a bit before I start converting my 1/8th scale nitro's.

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

No, I think you misunderstood dabid. I'm not buying an inferno gt, I'm fitting the body to my X1.

Nice, those sr's are freaking beastly.

You going for a drift setup or standard street setup?
