well im getting rid of my emaxx and mini-t and im just going to build my pede up and have it.
here is my list of stuff :
-jay pede tranny conversion
-novak ss BL
-rpm big bearing carriers
-duratrax threaded aluminum shocks
-rpm front bumper
-custom aluminum rear skid/wheelie bar
-jr z590 servo
-masher 2k tires
-rpm esc mount
-hpi mx-1 (nitro mt) body
-graphite tie bar
-titainium turnbuckles and suspension pins
thats about all i have the money for rite now this should be a pretty tough truck
is there any thing else id need or you think i should get?
ill porlly be going to wide pede also with nitro rush arms later on with some FLM parts when i get more money.
Widen that sucker if you want it to be a real basher, Seb's conversion is the best. Just get a pair of RPM's Losi LXT front arms, some longer turnbuckles, front wheels all around, and you're set!
I've never heard of the "graphite tie bar" and "Jay Pede tranny conversion" though, what are those?
The graphite tie bar goes on the front hinge pins that go through the bulkhead. It keeps the bulkhead from allowing the pins to get bent sideways. Getting an aluminum bulkhead up front makes it so that the tie bar is no longer needed (as I am currently doing with my rustler).
Jay's conversion is where you take an aluminum motor plate from the Traxxas Hawk or SRT or similar and mod it to fit onto a Rustler/Pede gearbox. Only problem is that these plates are virtually impossible to find these days.
SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz
yea i got ahold of some brand new plates for the jay pede they are in the mail. as for making it wider i plan on it before to long but im gonna use the nitro rush arms instead of the losi arms (or i mite jsut wait nad get the aluminum ones from FLM)
top things on my list are
the rpm big bearings
-tranny mods
-aluminum shocks
-and brushless
the other stuff can wait if i run out of money because those are my main things

And what is the advantage to this? Just the motor cooling?
