well my 16.8v emaxx has suffered long enough

okay for thos ewho are on the traxxas forums you know me as 69malibu so you know what happened to my truck. for those who dont read on.

on the 4th day of running the truck i was having alot of fun until there was a sickening crunch. the truck went head on WOT at 30 mph on 6 cell ib 4200's into a dumpster. the truck broke a powerline shock, a tmaxx shock (from my tmaxx 2.5), an arm, a bulkhead, and most seriously destroyed almost all of the steering system except for the servos on the truck. well today while messing around on ebay i found the last parts i needed to get her running again. now before you go thinking the truck cant take hits a few days before the big wreck i had clipped the dumpster and it did nothing to the truck. also got some big jumps and before the big wreck only broke part of a powerline shock. also the body took some severe hits. one wreck saw the body bent up to the body posts from getting stuck under a bmw. well i got the truck out and the body came back down. based on how severe it looked the body should have cracked but somehow took the hit and kept going. just minutes later she went head on into a huge snow bank and pushed the front of the nose in all the way to the front body posts. and finally jsut minutes before wrecking the truck had a violent roll that caved the roof of the cab area in. needlkess to say the body has some slight dents but is still in almost brand new condition. by now the body should be a pile of scraps based on how hard the hits were and also based on the types of damages. they all looked bad but the body has no cracks and only slight fraying of decals. also there are no hoels from debris punching through the body and there is almost no paint missing from debris hitting the inside of the body. traxxas really did a superb job giving the truck a serious makeover. now hopefully aftermarket companies will get some quality parts out and help the truck show people what it can really do. not too long form now my emaxx will be sporting an mgm and enu system. the esc is an mgm 16018 that i got from the store here. and the motor might come from here. depends on if they are available when i go to buy the motor. anyways jsut figured i would drop in and talk about the latest bashing action that i have had. stay tuned for more carnage reports as i have some fun.

sheesh. sounds like you have fun beating the hell out of it.

i try and stay away from garbage cans and cars but whatever keeps you having fun you keep on doing it!!


serisouly though you need to get some videos of this.

i might see aobut getting some vids up when i get more than one maxx going. i have a camera carryign emaxx, and an almost all metal emaxx. not to mention i need to work my jato vxl and see if i have any issues. and i also need to wrok my neu powered e-revo and do the break in on my tmaxx 2.5 and at the same time get some runs in with my stampede, rustler, and bandit vxl's. and i need to get most of my 35 traxxas vehicles running. most only need the gearing installed so i guess i should try to get that done. i hqave so much going on with my collection it isnt funny. if it wasnt so cold out and i knew i good place to go i would bring my villain ex out and get some time with her.
