Distance between the shocktowers on the FLM conversion kit; - 01.28.2008, 05:12 PM

Can someone with this conversion measure the distance between the front/rear shocktowers of this assembled vehicle? (from center bodypost to center bodypost if possible)

Thanks!

I can measure it for you tonight, but if you want a quick number just add 1 7/8 inches to the stock measurment. The TVPs are that length longer than the stock TVPs so it stand to reason that the shock towers would be the same distance apart.

I can't decide if its more fun

I came up with 333mm (or 13.11 inches). I used a tape measure...so the measurement may be off + or - one millimeter.

BTW...these are for the FLM E-Maxx conversion....

I measured 13.5" (343mm) exactly center to center on the body posts. I dont know if the shock towers and bulks matter or not, but I am using the stock plastic Savage X bulks and FLM towers. The body posts are lowered as far as they can be and both front and rear body posts and are set to be offset toward the center of the truck.

I wasn't sure which conversion kit Serum was referring to...but it looks like we got measurements for the E-Maxx and Savage so far!

Thanks Jhautz; i meant the holes in the shocktowers itself, so the actual distance between the holes in the shocktowers that you can mount the bodyposts on.

What wheelbase has this puppy got? can you also measure the distance between both upper arms (front/read) center/center please? (i'm looking for a body that would fit on mine, i am going to have buggy shocktowers lasered. I'm going to use 8 ofna shocks on her with flextek arms.

Thanks SSS, i've got an FLM maxx, but i meant the savage.

Distance for hole to hole on the shock towers is 14.75"

Distance for upper arms front to back c/c 15.062"

Wheel base is also looks to be the same as the arms at right about 15" maybe a touch over.
