New Mamba 25 Esc Problem

New Mamba 25 Esc Problem - 02.06.2008, 03:48 PM

I have a new mamba 25 esc in my mlst and I can't get it to work ...every time I try to set it to the transmitter/receiver it seems to take it then when I run it it crawls even at full throttle then the esc gets real hot ....if i put the old mamba 25 it works fine...reason I changed to new mamba 25 is the old one is too old to program with pc...anyone un into this

Did you program it? Is it in brushless or brushed mode?

I would set all the default options in the PC software (and make sure it is in the right brushed/brushless mode), re-calibrate the transmitter, and see how it goes.

I assume all your ESC/motor connections are ok? A poor solder joint on even one phase wire can cause issues.

Does your old Mamba use the internal BEC or an outboard one?

Since the other Mamba works fine with the same setup, the problem is isolated to the new speedo.
