Big Wheel / Tire combo for savage - 02.20.2008, 11:53 PM

Well, I have almost finished the tranny forward savage. Got the rcm chassis and a brand bew ss kit assembled. Need to setup the brake servo and wire everything up.

Now after looking at the stock ss wheels and tires, I have decided that I need some larger diameter wheels and tires. So I just bought a set of Nemesis wheels and tires. They are almost 7.5" tall and require 23mm hubs. So I bought a set of dynamite hubs. Not sure if I will like it, but it all cost 80 bucks so not too bad.

Tires look like giant bowtie tires, and the wheels are white dish type. I may buy a set of the Genesis chrome wheels and chevron tread tires, just have to find a good deal.

I will take some of the truck tomorrow.

Here is a shot of the CEN truck with the wheel/tire combo I bought:

Being 3ft tall it looks big, even if it's only 2 inches.. All in perspective..

i once looked at those tires too. they look cool...especially the chrome ones with the chevron tires. the only thing that held me back was that i read they are awfully heavy. even heavier than the 40 moabs if i remember correctly.

bye
