Best Setup

k so i got the tax returns and the emaxx is going to get rebuilt. I currently have a mamba max controller that was handed down to me. Im not looking for insane speed 30-40 is ok. I would like to stick to a normal 1/8" pinion size. i looked at a 540 9l with an 1/8" shaft. Any suggestions on motor or if i should go with a different controller setup. thanks in advance

Controller is fine. My suggestion is to either go with the feigao 10L (9L may be a bit hot), CC BEC and a couple good 2s lipos, or your prefered brand of Nimhs. Or your could use the Hvmaxx 6.5/4.5 for a different motor choice- just bundle the unused sensor wires up out the way.I would suggest updating the firmware via the castlelink on the esc to the newest version for the best results.
