Rustler brushless sytem - 04.06.2008, 06:52 PM

My VXL is crap and ramdomly stops moving. No thermals or flashing lights and temps are great. It will just not move if I come to a stop. So it's getting ripped out. I was thinking of a Neu 1506 5500kv finned case with the quark 65amp roadster. what do you guys think. I'm running 5k maxamps 2s lipo.

I would go with a mm esc over the quark 65 for 2s lipo. You will most likely overdraw the quark with that motor on 2s. The mm will handle it fine.

before I bought a Feigao 9L (2700 kv) for my Rustler, I was thinking about a Neu 1509/1y (3600kv) this was when I was running a 3s lipo
which would have given me 39,960 rpms, but I have since gone to 4s and the rpms would be at 53,280. The Neu could handle it...not so sure about the VXL drivetrain.
