The Hellfire uses a standard 1/8 scale axle, which is essentially a tube with 8mm OD and something like 5mm ID. The hex hub is secured to this axle tube using a 2-2.5mm pin through both the hex hub and the axle. A 5mm set screw secures that pin.
Standard Savage and Revo axles are only similar in terms of how they mount the tire on. The Savage axle is 8mm OD until the threads, and the threads are M5 (5mm). The Revo axle is 6mm OD, and again M5 threads. With the Savage and HPI's Savage CVDs, you can take Hellfire axles and simply mount them to the CVDs (that's why my Savage has right now). But with the Revo, getting a hex hub isn't simple. I think RD Logics makes a knuckle set that upgrades the axles to an 8mm OD.
And the Hellfire wheel nuts are actually black.
