solder motor directly to ESC? - 04.19.2008, 01:24 PM

As the subject says. I got a used feigao motor from ebay and it has bullet connectors on it, but the local store doesn't have the big connectors that are on this thing, Can I just solder the esc wires into the bullet connectors? I can't remove the bullet connectors from the motor as they are attached right at the motor, there would be no wire left.

I could desolder them, but I will probably just solder right into the female bullets that are on the motor.

If you do that, you'll have to de-solder the connectors anyways should you decide to use them later.
