Is the MMM going to be available soon?!? -
04.23.2008, 01:18 AM
I was on youtube and saw a video of this guy walking around talking with a bunch of guys at the RCX show I think? I didn't see a good close up, but it wasn't big at all (good ) and there was a fan on it (mah ).
At this point I am strongly thinking about getting one for my Revo, and using my Quark for my other maxx truck.
Here is link... at 2:55, he shows the MMM Revo (supposedly) (EDIT: 2:55 SORRY!)

Dude where have you been? Check out the threads in the castle section of the forum. There is more info and speculation in there then you can poke a stick at. Otherwise look up all posts by pdelcast.

Oh wow... I don't even know what to think now! It has been so long since they announced the Monster that it seemed to be whats the word... vapor.
I just noticed that it's on Mike's store, it looks fabulous being nice and small with a nice fan on top (well, nice fan guard), looks very refined; and I would 'expect' it be be very refined after such a long design stage.
 This makes me happy.

Although it does look very nice I wouldn't say that it is small

It's smaller than a Quark... thats all that matters.
But yeah, on second look it appears that the spacing on the output plugs make it look smaller than it really is.

The 10ga wire makes it look a bit smaller too.

Gotta love them big *ss 10 AWG wires... Have you guys seen any 8 AWG silicone wires?.. I know robot marketplace have 8 AWG, I have some, but I'd love it if it was as flexible as the silcone 10 AWG..

10awg is more than enough wire IMO. Anything more and it's just a pain (non-flexible).
I think castle should have made it 8s capable though, and maybe 150 amps? I am just a higher voltage kind of guy though. I should be happy that it's out, and I'm sure it will be a 'solid' 6s controller, and a solid 200 amps... who knows, maybe it will be able to do 7s lipo?
