Shipping an E-Revo from USA to South Africa - 04.25.2008, 11:49 PM

I have a guy interested in buying my e-revo that lives in South Africa but when I plug in my zipcode and his postalcode in UPS.com or FederalExpress.com I come up with a rate of over $300. I thought this guy mentioned getting a motor and 8 battery packs from the store here on RC Monster and paying $35 for shipping. Where should I look for info on shipping to this guy and is it going to take a week to fill out paperwork?

Thanks

Make sure you use DHL. The only real way to guarantee it won't be "lost" in the mail. They will find the addressee no matter if they are living in a box.

Big items are looking to get stolen if not properly shipped. You'd have to fill out customs paperwork (not too bad just a declaration.) Shipping time would be a few weeks, but no idea exactly.

USPS Global Express Mail would be a good option to look into also.
