Can Neu motors handle 100K rpm? Well if a Plettenberg can withstand 74K rpm and I see Mega claiming 75K and over 100K rpm due to them having Kevlar wrapped magnets, I think for a short moment a Neu can handle over 60K rpm and possibly 100K, because it has a Carbon Fiber wrapped magnet. The only problem at those speeds will be the ESC. Can it switch fast enough? Some controllers claim over 200K rpm with 2 pole and some can even do 70K+ with multi pole motors. Here is what the 100A HV controllers claim: Max Speed: 210,000rpm for 2 Poles, 70,000rpm for 6 poles and 35,000rpm for 12 poles.

Who makes the desirepower cells? Where do you buy from? They're made in China...

I bet you the DesirePower are the same cells as the Zippy Lipos from HobbyCity... :)

You found that the desirepower went faster than the FlightPowers?...
http://www.desire-battery.com
They are from China yes, but they have a very large factory with 1500+ employes. So it's there own cells, not the same as other cheap LiPo's.

Yes they went faster than the FlightPower ones. Alot of very talented people that have run Flightpower all there lives have tested these back in Sweden and they all love them! Way more power than the Flighpower ones. Eagle Trees show the same result too.

I don't know the distributer in the US but i know that autopartner.se takes international orders. Search for DesirePower in the search field on the top left.

Great video vassmar. That's gotta be pretty scary (but cool) when something goes airborne at those speeds. What's the big ball at the end of the road to the right?

Yeah it's pretty scary sometimes. Once it actually flew like max 1m from me in head-height :P.
The dome at the end of the straight is some old military storage building. The place i am driving at are located in the middle of the woods where the miltary had/have alot of extra stuff and runaways.

126.7mph / 204km/h! :D

All the small changes I made made those few km/h's at last. Now i don't now what the next goal is. Maybe i will try further with this setup or i will go HV with a Neu 15xx setup. We will see.

@ rcmonkey: Less drag on the body and less rollingresistance on the chassi.

@lutach: 35T pinion and 68T spur 48p.

Sweet car, and good job getting it done basically stock!

On a side not, whenever I see your thread title in the new post list, I always see "My Ass", and then the rest of the title. The first time I thought you were saying that the car could not be going that fast, but then realized you menat associated. BTW the abbreviation for that is asc.

I have almost the same gearing in my TC3. I have a 32T/68T. On 3S my TC3 is fast, but I don't think the Trinity N80 is as powerfull as the 7700 you have and I'm using a hig down force body. Get yourself a bigger pinion and see if that will help you get higher speed. Your body is doing a great job in giving you the down force you need to stay palnted and go fast.

Very fast man but im wondering how accurate the venom thing is (IE wheelspin)?

My next project will also be a tc4, and would love to have a inexpensive build that can go 100+ MPH!!
