36150 is an awesome size... but schulze is the only one that can take 12 lipos.. that's my problem...

I bought 4 pacs of 6s lipos.... I should've bought 5s instead maybe..

how much power is that 2250 motor though... I wonder if Mike can get this motor....

Mike can get it, no problem..

The 2250 is quite a bit stronger..

You can rebuild the packs... it should be no problem...

Rebuilding Lipo packs will be hard to do if the tabs are welded together. If they are soldered, then it isn't so tough (just unsolder). If you converted all of the packs to 5s, then you could make an extra 4s pack!

and if they are welded, you can get some kind of solder, that works on it.. Not too hard, don't scare him off Metalman.. ;)

What I am worried about is how to un-do the welds on the battery tabs (if there are any). Ripping the tabs apart would shorten them (and possibly make them too short).

That is why I really hate lipo. They're extremely sensitive and yet very powerful. I found the skyvolts 6400mah at towerhobbies and the charger all for 279-280. Is there anything else I might need beside the charger/balancer?

Is it really necessary to buy the balancer?... Does it really help that much?

I would prefer a balanced set. TP has got this neat balancer, you could adapt your cells so you can balance charge them..

hahaha...

Please do hurry... :)

you guys know where to get custom pinions made.. or specs on the angle of 32 pitch pinions..

if I know the angle I can get one made from hardened steel...

I would like to make a 30+ teeth 32 pitch pinion..

I wonder if my 10mm cvds will hold up.. :)

or would the Supermaxx tranny and idler take this kind of power...?

get a strobe slipper and a RC-monster idler. you can get a 51 tooth spur and a 20 tooth+ idler for that.

I don't know what you mean...

so I get the strobe slipper, and use the idler gear as the spur?...

hmm... that would be awesome if it works....
