Now the Mamba Monster look alikes are being released. - 05.14.2008, 01:04 AM

I knew this was gonna happen seeing that some of the stuff is being made overseas. Maybe not as good as Mamba and definately doesnt come with the support, but never the less it sure looks like the Monster!.

Those have been out before the Monster. The 100A has 2 versions, one is sensored and the other is sensoreless. The 200A has been out for a few months now. I have the boat version and it is awesome. I know plenty of guys with the airplane one and they are loving them as well. I will say that the 100A controller will be as good as a Mamba for doing it's job, but when it comes to the support, they come with 1 or 2yrs warranty just like the HW ones.

It looks like a monster in the fact that it has wires and a fan...not much else.

If that was the scenario, I would say the Monster looks like that one as that one came out before the Monster . We might see other controllers tht will look like the Monster in the future and then we can say those looks like the Monster.

Wow, according to ebay the monster max is the new PS3 or Wii. There are two on there now with a buy it now of 430 bucks! I hope no one really pays that much for it.

Turnigy say exactly the same thing for theirs - soft start. All Air ESCs have this feature to protect the fragile aero gearboxes
