Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Probably had a million excuses at the end. Didn't want to admit to defeat by an electric mobile machine. All I have to say is bring on the next nitro. Brushless rules.
Peace!

Yeah, way to go!
I once drag raced my Twin against a nitro Savage ... that was fun!
Already 12-14 cell setups own the nitos. Now imagine those 20+cell setups with high end motors.
Honestly, I still find it amazing that nitro gets so much coverage and attention. You hardly see any serious BL races. But my bet is, one day BL will be just as popular. It's all about the batteries.... Lipo will go a long way.

Dude, he got owned 4 times. Thats funny.
Everyone loves the sound and smoke the nitro makes. I get asked all the time if my maxx is gas, even if I have the body off with the contents exposed.
I dont get it. They spend at least $300 on the motor and another $100 on the pipe, plus the cost of nitro. I can get a 9920 and L or XL for $280-290 and a set of batteries for like $110-$130. O well, I guess in the end, everyone will convert.

...and I guess in the end, there will be no more need for convertions. Because there will be more and more serious EP RC's.

Just realized my son was in the background w/ his Maxx. He's too afraid of running flatout w/ the brushless on concrete. :D

It us my expreience that smokers (Dafni's term, i kind of like it) are a prideful sort, easily squashed by a good electric. Hopfully in the next couple of weeks, i have a race lined up with a Losi drake edition XXXnt and my t4 ( not brushless yet, but maybe soon . This is going to be on a dirt track, not a drag race

Very nice indeed. I don't miss nitro at all, but, don't be fooled by them new high power big block motor's. They can still push your bl machine to the limit if it comes down to speed.
My only consern is handeling and being able to lay down some serious power in corner's. Speed run's get's boring real quickly and doesn't allow either truck's it's full potential.

I guess he was. I'd be afraid of him running it too! I'll have to own chuck again once I get the MT-2 going again.

Yeah, he had just gotten his brushless when you took the vid. It saves *me* money when *he* doesn't break it...so I'm glad he didn't participate. ;-)

Hey Chud, when I get the MT2 going, can I take it over to your house? I'll take on your Maxx and maybe beat it. ;)
