I love those cars. The huge foams in the rear are just so menacing....haha! Hope you have fun with it Al. I suspect a lot of parts breakage after you hit something at 80mph...

I'm planning to go 200mph, but the setup I have right now won't take me byond 80-90mph at best. I would put in 10-12s with a 1512 neu that has a very low rpm rate and a hv controller. Wind resistance will be the worst enemy.

Can you fit a 1521 or 1527 in there ? Al, can you measure from the motor mount to where the belt is for me? Thank you.

Something like 70mm maximum.

The 1512 motor barely fits.

Al, thank you. I have plenty of choices for that length. I would love to stuff a 1521 or a 1527, but that would just be too much.

Very nice creation there and props to all involved. I can;t wait to see you run it.

I especially like the look of the aluminum under-chassis. You may not reach 200 but 90 is nothing to sneeze at in my book.

Have you decided a body for it yet? It's almost a shame you will have to cover up that beautiful chassis though.

Yeah, I already have that Lola body. I need to make a perfect fit, first and then paint it.
