Hydra 120 problem - RC-Monster Forums

My Hydra 120 won't communicate with the Castle Link. When I first plug the Castle link in everything is green and I get a pop up saying that there is new device firmware available. When I click OK it starts to read the settings, briefly, and then stops. I then get an error message saying that it didn't get a response from the controller. It says to unplug the USB device and try again but that doesn't help. I try re-connecting the battery but that doesn't help either.

It won't arm with the radio either but I do have power to the servos via the CC BEC.

I ran it for a few minutes on Saturday evening. I later discovered that the battery probably has a bad cell.

I had the same symptoms with a ccBEC, turned out to be a hardware fault and I got it replaced. Try ringing the CC tech line.

Tech guy says it is a problem with the processor and I should send it in for warranty repair. Does anyone know if replacing the RX plug will void the warranty?

He says they are 4 weeks out on repairs...

I got it, and my whole kit, from Fine Design back in October. He is sending a new one out to me today. :)

(gets back up off floor after falling down in disbelief) Wow, can't belive that you are getting service from CF. That is uncommon. Good luck!!!!
