I wouldn't recommend doing this. It is not as easy as it may seem. I think CC use special soldier. I did not have an easy time soldiering on the MM. After I did mine and my wires would desoldier themselves, ultimately it ended up frying.
CC use a lead-free solder, not sure if it has silver in it or not, but some ppl do have trouble melting the solder, i took an 80w iron to it & it came right off. I dont plan to use lead-free solder though, it takes much much longer to melt & is harder to work with generally compared to 60/40 rosin core.
I plan to remove all battery & motor wires, remove as much old solder from the tabs as possible, then use 60/40 or deans racing solder for the new wires...
After i finish the new wires, ill post pics of the esc & also how it was soldered to the board...

I successfully fitted 12awg wire to my MM. i used an 80w iron, i kept my fingers on the heatsink of the esc so i could monitor the temps. the 12awg wire fitted straight into the holes, even with the wire tinned & the solder tab holes tinned. i ended up using 60/40 rosin core, & cleaned all the old solder out with a solder suck.
nice. pitty youve got no warrenty. i fried mine by doing this. o well $50 repair for a new one!
btw, just think i see you with the same lipo as i have. premium power 4700 20C? how does it perform (if it is, but it looks remarkably similar) and how long have you had it? (i got 2 for $50 used)

certainly is a premium power 4700 20c mate. it performs ok, ive been using a deans plug on it, when my cutoff kicks in @ 6v, when i chuck it on the charger, it reads voltage of a low 7. so i think im getting voltage spikes or something along those lines. the last time that happened to me, it ended up being the plug, so this time around ive changed all my plugs over to the TRX ones, so im hoping now the lipo will act alot better.
in the background of the first piccie, ive got an elite 4800 25c 2s from cheapbatterypacks.com, awesome pack, thinking about grabbing another one from there again aswell...
