This system never hit the U.S., for some reason. I can't find any specs on it on Orion's site. I remember seeing it there about a year ago, though.

How are you so sure that it is a Schulze controller? It looks to me like the Orion one. None of those would be strong enough for an Emaxx.

How so? The shrink wrap on the one on Ebay might not be as clear, but that doesn't mean anything. Also look at the positioning of where the receiver wire comes out from...

Nbcaz, that does look like the vortex esc, just you're not seeing the underside of it like you are on the orion site.It looks like it's made by shulze for them though,it has the same DIL switches.

Looks like a waste of time though, let's say the reserve is $200,there are lots of bidders, even if you got it for that it's not worth it as it's an unknown quantity. You'd be much better off coming up with another $70 or so for something we know works for your application.

They said it cogged and thermaled in second with stock gearing, first gear was ok. they dropped three teeth on the pinion and took care of that. They said it was comparable to a stock emaxx in speed, but if i remember correctly they only used two six cell packs in parallel, don't know why they didn't use twelve cells. It is a Schultze design on the controller. That's why i'm not bidding on it.
