Serum, can i copy your bl savy mount? - 10.11.2005, 11:30 PM

hey guys i'm thinking about picking up a savage roller so i can stick in a 9920/7xl.

where do i start with motor mounts? i'd get the rcboyz conversion but its a little pricey.

i've seen the L-profile plan in a different thread. could i just print that out and tell a machinist to cut it out for me in 6061 AL?

i do use the search button :o

Hi Hernz! welcome to the boards!

That l-profile mount is not my design, but you can use it, it's from joeling i believe.

The plate i made is from 10mm thick 6061 aluminum.

Joelings is adjustable as well! it uses the stock mounting points from the nitro engine.

I don't have got a drawing or anything of the plate i made.
