Next Project...? - 08.11.2008, 05:13 PM

Ok Ive decided that the baja isnt going to entertain me 100% so I have decided to start another project after I get the baja which will be very soon. I need your help on what I should do for my next project... Im looking to bash it, not heavily but bash it sometimes and would like to get some good speed out of it meaning the setup I use wont have to be insanely priced to get it moving. I would like wheelies on demand and I would like for the drivetrain to be able to withstand the stress of the brushless/lipo application. Heres what Ive narrowed it down to.

Cen GST 7.7
Savage X
Losi LST2
E-Revo

I threw the E-revo in their because it'll be less work to convert it and I have always wanted one since the day they came out. What would you guys reccomend?

It sounds like you are leaning towards the E-Revo already....

Not quite Brian. I threw the others in because I like them and it would be more of hands on build.

Haha, it goes both ways in my opinion. I think the E-revo would be best for me but then again I still dont know.

The savage would be my pick but they are expensive to do. If you want something that is cheap go the e-revo. The savage is an awesome basher which is why it's my pick.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

I had a savage 25 converted with a nice setup and it always seemed like something with the shocks went wrong and the 3spd tranny blew up so I sold it. I had so many problems with it.
